Hello,
This is an interesting topic. In my opinion, living here in Japan, I want the Japanese government to ban smoking in public places. I do not want to have to eat my meal in a restaurant with people blowing smoke over my food.
I heard that the Japanese government owns Japanese Tobacco, if this is true, it might explain why they don't ban it.
Also, they shpould put more tax on tobacco, but i guess that is the same problem as above.
Rob..
It's interesting comment for me.
返信削除I think Japanese government should take strict attitude to smoking.
Thank you for answering interesting comments!
返信削除Recently, people can't smoke in many places.
Instead, smoking places are built.
Maybe, the reason Japanese government doesn't stop selling tobacco is the important part of collecting taxes.
I think if tobacco disappear, another taxes will be raised instead of tobacco taxes.
If tobacco taxes is raised very much at once, smokers stop smoking?
Thank you.
